Dear Kristi,
Having thoroughly enjoyed your Kristina Cook Regencies, I’m looking forward eagerly to your move into the Edwardian Age with “A Midnight Clear”!
In pursuit of historical accuracy, though, one little thing about this sentence on your Web page (“He’s been able to think of nothing else since meeting the then-anonymous woman on the deck of the ocean liner H.M.S. Mauretania so many months ago.”) needs a tweak: The liner Mauretania was an RMS (Royal Mail Ship), not an HMS (His/Her Majesty’s Ship). RMS is the designation for ships with contracts to carry the Royal Mail; HMS is the designation for ships of the Royal Navy. For more, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Mail_Ship.

Hi, Mary Ellen! So glad you’re looking forward to A MIDNIGHT CLEAR!! And thanks for pointing out the typo on my web page–I just went and checked to make certain, and it is written correctly RMS Mauretania in the book itself–no idea how it got entered incorrectly on the web site! Going to fix it now here in on the site, and thanks again!

I just finished SWEPT AWAY and I absolutely La-La-LOVED it!! Christobel and John were such yummy characters and I thoroughly enjoyed watching their story unfold!! This was my first KA story and it definitely won’t be my last. I have a feeling you are going to be a part of my Keeper Shelf
